Interview with Joshua Hübel (Architect Of Dissonance)

1: How did you guys get together as a band? Three of us already make music since early 2011, we're good friends since a long time and have a lot of fun together. During the time we had different changes in the band, the 2nd guitar player and 2 ex-vocalists. We play in the current line-up since march 2013, with a new vocalist and only one guitar player again.
2: When is your new EP coming out? Can you tell us something about it? We planned the release date of the new EP in June 2013, but our vocalist didn't bring about the vocals yet, although the instrumentals are done since the end of may. That's kind of sad, isn't it? But right now, we're in the recordings again and hope to release the EP as soon as possible!! Well, before I forget it, we've already released 2 songs of the upcoming EP on YouTube, feel free to check them out, they're named "Purifying Bloodshed" and "Facebreaker" featuring our good friend Janosch from the band SPAWN OF DISGUST!
3: What are your future plans/ambitions? Play a lot of shows, maybe a few bigger shows, too, and release a bunch of new songs which will delight older fans and gain a lot of newer ones too! A record deal with a label would be a huge aim for us, too!
4: Have you encountered the "this music is shit" attitude? Of course! A lot of people don't appreciate this genre as "music" and say it's just bullshit or something, but we love what we do and that's all what matters. And when there are a few people who like and support what we do, everything's fine, isn't it?
5: What/who is your inspiration? There are so many bands who inspirate us in writing music, for example Acranius, Abominable Putridity, Dying Fetus, Waking The Cadaver & Ingested, just to name a few ones!
6: One band you would tour the world with? That's a difficult question, there are so many bands we would like to tour with! But I think Dying Fetus would top a lot of bands, they have an immense live sound and are great musicians!
7: What is the craziest shit that ever happened to you? (Related to the band) At the last great festival we visited as guests, a guy recognized our guitarist and me as members of AOD. He went with us to our car and bought some merchandise we had in the trunk. We felt kind of famous, being recognized among ten thousands of people as members from our band, haha.
8: What's your goal as a musician? Having great shows with the band in the future and earn a record deal!
9: Alien invasion or zombie apocalypse? Of course zombie apocalypse!!
10: Say anything you want to your fans. Thanks for all the support, buying our merch and listening to our music. Without you, we wouldn't be able to do this! Stay heavy!!

Interview with Len MK (Pestilectomy)

1. How have you been?  Not good at all, it’s been a very shit year so far with multiple deaths of people I loved very much, but I’d rather not discuss it. I’m just glad to speak to an enjoyer of Pestilectomy as we love the chance to do this the most.  2. What are you currently listening to that you would recommend?  Theurgy, Smokedope2016, Final Resting Place, Xaviersobased, The Garden, Full Body 2, Thaiboy Digital, Vampirska, Këkht Aräkh, Hi-C, Brawl Between Enemies, Disentomb, Relics of Humanity. Most mentioned has dropped, or are about to drop, very good releases that I can’t hype enough, so much good music coming lately.  3. You recently released your new EP. How has the reception been and how do you feel about it now after some time?  It’s the best the band has done yet. 4. What are your musical plans for the future and when can we expect new Pestilectomy music?  No plans for the future as Pestilectomy is over. At least now we are. We may come back som...

Interview with Donovan Fox (Defenestrated Treachery)

1. How have you been? I’ve been good, though my life’s been pretty uneventful other than the slam shit. 2. What are you currently listening to that you would recommend? I’ve been spinning some classic slam albums like Rationing The Sacred Human Remains by Parasitic Ejaculation and Uterovaginal Insertions of Extirpated Anomalies by Cephalotripsy. A newer band I’ve been listening to is Cranioclast, an oldschool deathcore style project that my friend has. He also has a slam project called Nephrostomy that DT is actually getting a feature on! We recorded our feature a few days ago, actually.  3. You have a 4-way split coming out in January. Are there any plans for a solo EP/album? Yes actually, we’ve been waiting on our homie Alex from Inherited Suffering Records to finish mixing up our full length. We’ve worked so hard on this album and it actually took us a year. The dudes in DT are pretty eager to hear the finished product, including me. Don’t know when the initial release date will...

Interview with Ludvig, Anton (Guttural Disgorge)

source: GD Bandcamp 1. How have you been? We’ve been good. We‘ve played our first few shows ever this winter and shit has been amazing. We’ve also partnered up with our booking agency who have been plotting some crazy gigs for us, which we can’t wait to share with the rest of you. 2. What are you currently listening to that you would recommend? Ludvig: I’ve been listening to a lot of Visions of Disfigurement, Epitomectomy, Analepsy, and Cerebral Incubation. I can definitely recommend Visions of Disfigurement’s latest album from 2024: Vile Mutation. That shit slaps. Anton: Lately I've been listening to a lot of brutal death metal — especially an Italian band called Fulci. I think their style, sound, and themes are some of the most brutal and coolest out there. I’ve also been listening to a lot of German, Impending Mindfuck. Even though they have less than a hundred listeners on Spotify, I promise you their debut EP slaps. 3. You released your new album a few months back. How has the...
