1. How have you been?

I have been great, thanks. Had a nice break over Christmas / New Year and I’m ready to start working on new music for a few projects this year!

2. What are you currently listening to that you would recommend?

Recently, I have been non stop blasting the latest Cardiomyotomy album, which is such a killer slam release, also the new Hacksaw Tracheotomy is crazy hard, 357 homicide also did a feature on this release.

3. You released your new album a few months ago. What has the response been like and how do you feel about it now?

The response we had for the latest Homicide album were insane! We had such good feedback from so many people and especially on the production, as we stepped things up a level for this record. I definitely feel this is our most solid album to date, although I will always love the previous songs we have released as they are all unique to us in one way or another.

4. You are quite unique in that you play live as a 2-piece. Have you ever considered adding more members to live performances?

Yeah, we get that very frequently that we sound huge playing as 2 people, this is something we have worked on for a while to get to this stage. I think with how many records we have now and with all the future plans we have, that we have gone past the point of having someone new is the band. For us personally and for the fans we just don’t think it would have the same “Homicide” effect.

5. What are your musical plans for the future?

We have a good few things planned for the future, we have currently finished writing and recording the instrumentals for a brand new EP, we also have some cool plans after this but can’t say too much.

6. What is your favorite piece of art you have produced that has a special place in your heart?

For me personally the best piece of art in any shape or form I’ve produced were the complete idea / concept for the Executed on Site album, from the diverse title to the building site artwork & the brutal lyrics, a lot of thought went into to this album and for me it turned out much better than ever expected.

7. Can you tell us a fun fact related to your music that we may not know?

Haha, this is something not many people know - for the latest Homicide album we recorded me doing some dolphin sounding vocals, but chose to not include them in the final mix. Me and Mat would just burst out laughing each time we heard the dolphins back and decided it just wasn’t our sound, haha.

8. What is the craziest shit that ever happened to you related to the band?

One of the craziest things that’s happened related to the band isn’t a drunk, fucked up story for me, haha. It was playing a headline set in Berlin for nearly 3 hours - every time we stopped to say thanks, the crowd and the promoter would not only not let us get off stage, but would be constantly chanting "357 Homicide" in German, haha. This for me were crazy as we had never experienced such a surreal show at this point, but playing drums and doing vocals at the same time for hours really made me want a new set of lungs.

9. What are your five desert island picks and biggest inspirations?

So I’m going to tie in my desert island picks along with inspirations as these are the albums I will be listening to forever:

Dying Fetus - Reign Supreme

Disfigurement Of Flesh - Phychotonic Abnormal Dismemberment

Invigorate - Sanctity The Last Of Misery

Devourment - Molesting The Decapitated

Embryectomy - Promo 2014

10. Dream tour line-up and destination?

For my dream tour lineup I’m going to have to go with my previous 5 bands, plus Homicide so I can play 2 sets the entire time, haha. The destination would definitely have to be the States for me.

11. What is your favorite slam sample or intro?

My favorite sample has to be the intro sample to “Cranial Blowout - Redneck Frenzy” it’s so eerie but cheery at the same time haha it’s always been my personal fav

12. Alien invasion or zombie apocalypse?

Zombie apocalypse all day.
