Picture:  @harrisonshotthis 1. How have you been? Ha. Burnt out mostly. I own a skateshop/venue in Maryland. @LCskateshop. Pretty much consumes my life but I’ve been making some cool shit happen.  2. What are you currently listening to that you would recommend? Gangrenous flesh consumption. The fucking homies. They rip. Scasm from Jersey is 🔥. I love some jazz though. 90s hip hop too 3. You officially joined the band and released the first single with you as main vocalist a few months back. How has the response been and how do you feel about it? For the most part people seemed to love it. Haters are everywhere though. They can all suck it. I’m just hyped to make music.  4. You featured on several tracks on the last album, which also contained bonus tracks with you as the vocalist. Do you know what led to the decision to not choose you as main vocalist on the album straight away? After all, it was a step in a new direction with the vocals on the album and the resp...

1. How have you been? I have been good, thank you! Thanks for doing this. My wife and I are trying to immigrate to Canada. Long and frustrating process, but we are almost at the end of it, so fingers crossed! 2. What are you currently listening to that you would recommend? I am always listening to a lot of different stuff. I recently went back to that amazing Severed Savior album Servile Insurrection – so hard! I must admit that I’m usually going back to older releases. There are some killer newer bands around like Chorus Of Demons, Splattered Spine, Corpse Pile, Voracious Contempt… The scene is doing great, but it also feels a bit saturated nowadays. There are so many bands releasing material now that it has become hard to keep track.   3. You released your new album a few months back. How has the response been and how do you feel about it? The response was pretty good! We have received a lot of good feedback, so it’s always cool. We are having a hard time topping our 2020 album B...

source: GD Bandcamp 1. How have you been? We’ve been good. We‘ve played our first few shows ever this winter and shit has been amazing. We’ve also partnered up with our booking agency who have been plotting some crazy gigs for us, which we can’t wait to share with the rest of you. 2. What are you currently listening to that you would recommend? Ludvig: I’ve been listening to a lot of Visions of Disfigurement, Epitomectomy, Analepsy, and Cerebral Incubation. I can definitely recommend Visions of Disfigurement’s latest album from 2024: Vile Mutation. That shit slaps. Anton: Lately I've been listening to a lot of brutal death metal — especially an Italian band called Fulci. I think their style, sound, and themes are some of the most brutal and coolest out there. I’ve also been listening to a lot of German, Impending Mindfuck. Even though they have less than a hundred listeners on Spotify, I promise you their debut EP slaps. 3. You released your new album a few months back. How has the...

1. How have you been? Super good! We got a lot on our plate as far as be releases and shows go, so we’re staying busy.  2. What are you currently listening to that you would recommend? How has the response been and how do you feel about it? The response was much better than we could have imagined. We got a lot of feedback as far as the sound goes, so we’re making some adjustments to make our sound bigger, and you best believe the riffs are gonna be more brutal than ever!  4. What are your musical plans for the future? We’re currently working on a couple of splits and we have an EP getting finished up currently. We have some pretty cool concepts for future albums as well.  5. How did the name Buttholectomy come to be? Sawyer came up with the ridiculous name BUTTHOLECTOMY truthfully because it’s funny and it...

You released your new album a few months ago. What has the response been like and how do you feel about it now? The response we had for the latest Homicide album were insane! We had such good feedback from so many people and especially on the production, as we stepped things up a level for this record. I definitely feel this is our most solid album to date, although I will always love the previous songs we have released as they are all unique to us in one way or another. 4. You are quite unique in that you play live ...

1. How have you been?  Not good at all, it’s been a very shit year so far with multiple deaths of people I loved very much, but I’d rather not discuss it. What are you currently listening to that you would recommend?  Theurgy, Smokedope2016, Final Resting Place, Xaviersobased, The Garden, Full Body 2, Thaiboy Digital, Vampirska, Këkht Aräkh, Hi-C, Brawl Between Enemies, Disentomb, Relics of Humanity. Most mentioned has dropped, or are about to drop, very good releases that I can’t hype enough, so much good music coming lately.  3. You recently released your new EP. How has the reception been and how do you feel about it now after some time?  It’s the best the band has done yet. 4. What are your musical plans for the future and when can we expect new Pestilectomy music?  No plans for the future as Pestilectomy is over. At least now we are. We may come back som...
